The Grant County Commissioners met Oct. 1 and approved routine fiscal and administrative measures, including payment of $6,756.23 in bills and renewal of certificate of deposit #5931 for a 24-month term at Dakota Community Bank & Trust.
Commissioners Al Roy Hochhalter, Marty Meyer and Chair Alton Zenker approved the agenda and the Sept. 17, 2025 meeting minutes by unanimous vote. The treasurer's report was reviewed and accepted.
By roll call the board approved payment of the listed bills (total $6,756.23), including John Deere Financial for $2,098.80 and Gas & Gears, LLC for $3,744.20. A motion to renew certificate #5931 carried on a motion by Commissioner Meyer and second by Commissioner Hochhalter, with all present voting aye.
The meeting adjourned at 11:44 a.m. Chair Zenker noted the next scheduled meetings for Oct. 15 and Nov. 5, 2025.
