Sauber also proposed alternatives for the application such as #19-134-08.0 (Lark Road) and #19-130-35.0 (Stage Stop).
Commissioners discussed options for replacing the Heart River Bridge, noting potential approaches such as building a bypass, using temporary detours, and upgrading existing alternative detour routes. No specific design or contractor selection was made at the meeting; the board’s action at this session was limited to approving the priority list and authorizing Sauber to submit the application on the board’s behalf.
