Jason Albert, Grant County Planning & Zoning Administrator, informed the board that a property in Carson owned by Shannon Wangsvick had been reclassified by the City of Carson in 2013; the county’s minutes indicate no county‑level reclassification is required and that Wangsvick will pursue a tax classification change before the County Board of Equalization for 2025.
Separately, the applicant Central Specialties applied for a conditional use permit related to the Hiway 49 project. Commissioner Meyer requested that a representative of Central Specialties meet with the board and that the company provide a Road Use Agreement for review; the minutes do not record further discussion or any board vote on the conditional use permit during this meeting.
Provenance: Planning & Zoning comments recorded in the meeting minutes (SEG 002).
