Grant County commissioners approve $24,585.63 in bills; routine items passed

Commissioner Marty Meyer moved to approve the meeting agenda; Commissioner Al Roy Hochhalter seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously to approve it. The board similarly approved the March 5, 2025 meeting minutes after a motion by Hochhalter and second by Meyer.
County Auditor Sara Meier reviewed the treasurer’s report, noting receipt of a County Infrastructure payment from the State of North Dakota. The bill list submitted for payment totaled $24,585.63 and included payments to vendors such as CHS Inc. ($5,698.88), Hammer Lane Diesel LLC ($11,909.24), Linde Gas & Equipment ($1,892.98) and Vanguard Appraisals Inc. ($1,000.00). Commissioner Meyer moved to approve payment of the bills; Commissioner Hochhalter seconded. Roll-call votes were recorded as Meyer — aye; Hochhalter — aye; Zenker — aye, and the motion carried.
No further action was taken on the treasurer’s report beyond acknowledgement of the state payment. The meeting proceeded to other agenda items and adjourned at 11:55 a.m.
