Screven County commissioners approve several unanimous motions, adopt resolution and make board appointment

On new business, Commissioner Ben Thompson moved to adopt a resolution to downsize the membership of the Keep Screven Beautiful Board; Commissioner Romeo seconded and the resolution carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner Edwin Lovett moved to appoint William J. Bland as the at-large representative for Screven County to the CRC Board; Commissioner Mike Dixon seconded and the appointment also carried unanimously. The board later moved into executive session for personnel matters at 9:45 a.m. on a motion by Commissioner J.C. Warren, seconded by Commissioner Lovett. The board returned to regular session at 10:47 a.m. on a motion by Commissioner Ben Thompson, seconded by Commissioner Mike Dixon. Chairman Will Boyd adjourned the meeting at 10:47 a.m.
