Gas station on Elim Church Road: Commissioner Florence Baggs raised concerns about a proposed gas station on Elim Church Road, saying the current setback requirement is an issue. Chairman Robert Parker said the property is zoned for a gas station but a stop order is in effect and that the item will go back to Planning and Zoning before returning to the commission.
Liquor referendum: Commissioner Jeremy Hall moved to place a liquor‑sales referendum for Long County on the 2022 primary election ballot; Commissioner Florence Baggs seconded. Commissioner John Reddish voted nay; the motion passed 4–1.
Ordinance amendment and executive session: The board unanimously approved an amendment to the county ordinance regarding easements and utility lines. The commissioners entered executive session to discuss personnel and real estate and later voted to exit.
