Judge Teresa Odum led the invocation and the commissioners led the Pledge of Allegiance before the board moved into regular business. Commissioner Gerald Blocker moved to approve the October 2022 agenda; Commissioner John Reddish seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner John Reddish then moved to approve the Aug. 30, 2022 minutes; Commissioner Jeremy Hall seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
On financial business, Commissioner Gerald Blocker moved to authorize payment of bills; Commissioner Jeremy Hall seconded. The board voted unanimously to authorize payments. Finally, Commissioner John Reddish moved to adjourn; Commissioner Gerald Blocker seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
County Attorney James Smith, County Clerk Mary Ann Odum and Deputy County Clerk Brandi Smiley were recorded as present. The minutes include a notation that the meeting record was adopted Nov. 10, 2022, with signatures attributed to Chairman Robert D. Parker and Deputy County Clerk Brandi Smiley.
