The board also approved two appointments: Carol Williford to fill the unexpired term of Lynn Silas on the Department of Family and Children Services Board (Dec. 2, 2024–June 30, 2027) and Benny Dockery to continue serving on the Douglas-Coffee County Land Bank Authority for Jan. 1, 2025–Dec. 31, 2028. All appointments and the budget amendments were approved by unanimous vote following motions from commissioners.
