Applicant describes Fox Run Estates Phase 2 plans as Pierce County commissioners probe drainage and access

Applicant Jamie Groover said he is having builder Sonny Bowen construct the homes for the project and that he had “gone through the Health Department, Planning and Codes,” and had spoken with Road Superintendent Bruce Carter to ensure requirements were addressed. Groover said he was told he did not need to submit drainage plans.
Chairman Neal Bennett said he would investigate whether drainage plans are required before the county proceeds. Commissioner David Lowman asked how many entrances the subdivision would have; Groover said there would be “one off Tornado and one off Chapel.” No vote or formal action was recorded at the hearing.
