Rapson also announced a new "Blood Transfusion Program" intended to equip paramedics to administer life-saving blood transfusions in the minutes before patients reach a trauma center. The announcement was presented as part of the Administrator’s Hot Projects update; no formal board action was recorded on the program during the meeting.
