Lehigh Township selects Conrad Siegel to administer police pension after RFP

The Board voted Sept. 23 to select Conrad Siegel to administer the Lehigh Township police pension plan after Truist Bank announced it would no longer provide those services.
Manager Alice Rehrig said the Township advertised an RFP and received four proposals; the two lowest bids were from CBiZ and Conrad Siegel, with approximately a $3,300 difference between them. Supervisors noted Conrad Siegel’s depth of experience with police pensions and the advantage of having actuarial and administrative services in the same firm.
Jerry Pritchard moved to proceed with Conrad Siegel; the motion was seconded and carried. The Board did not discuss contract specifics during the public meeting; staff and the actuary will finalize details consistent with Act 205 and procurement requirements.
