ELK POINT, S.D. — The Union County Board of Commissioners on July 8 approved audited claims and payroll, several highway permits and voluntary right-of-way donations tied to a state bridge-replacement project, and a set of property tax abatements.
The board, with Commissioners Dailey, Ballard, Kimmel and Ustad present (Commissioner Joffer absent), approved the agenda and minutes for the June 24 meeting. Auditor’s records presented totals showing $3,717,793.14 in bank deposits, $13,995,830.37 in investments and a total of $17,800,911.49 across all county-administered funds, a county note states.
