The Lehigh Township Board of Supervisors accepted an extension of time for the Top of the Mountain Estates subdivision on July 22, 2025, but required the developer to send a representative to the next meeting.
Supervisor Janet Sheats moved to grant an extension until Aug. 31, 2025, and David Hess seconded. The Planning Commission had given the plan conditional approval, and board members said revisions required re-submission to planning. Supervisor Mike Jones said the board’s longstanding position is that a representative must be present for plan discussions.
The board noted that if the developer does not obtain the required extension at the next meeting or fails to appear, the plan will need to be denied. The developer had requested an extension through Oct. 31, 2025; the shorter extension was approved to ensure active representation at the next meeting.
