Lake County commissioners approve health‑service agreement amendments, extensions

The board voted 2‑0 to approve a $9,173.82 amendment to an Oregon Health Authority IGA for training and immunization services and to extend liability and behavioral health intergovernmental agreements through Dec. 31, 2025; motions were made by Vice‑Chair Shullanberger and seconded by Chair Albertson.
During its Sept. 3 session, the Lake County Board of Commissioners approved several intergovernmental agreement actions recommended at a prior meeting.
Vice‑Chair Barry Shullanberger moved and Chair Mark Albertson seconded approval of the First Amendment to the Oregon Health Authority 2025‑2027 Intergovernmental Agreement for the Financing of Public Health Services for a total of $9,173.82; Shullanberger noted the funds were for training and immunization services. The motion carried by a 2‑0 vote.
The board also approved Amendment 01 to the Intergovernmental Agreement providing tort liability coverage as a provider for the Psychiatric Security Review Board, an extension of the 2023‑2025 agreement through Dec. 31, 2025; and approved State of Oregon Intergovernmental Agreement PO‑44300‑00050115 related to Health Systems, BH Adult Mental Health Program, also extended through Dec. 31, 2025. Heidi Martinez had presented the latter items at the prior meeting.
Finally, commissioners approved minutes for July 15, Aug. 6 and Aug. 20, 2025. Each motion passed with two Ayes; no opposing votes were recorded.
