Lake County commissioners approve grant and contract amendments, accept $121,536 transit grant

Commissioner James Williams moved and Vice‑Chair Barry Shullanberger seconded to approve Amendment No. 001 to Agreement #25-018 with the Oregon Department of Energy (County Energy Resilience Program Grant), adding six months to the grant timeline so Lake County Resources Initiative (LCRI) can complete a program plan assessing infrastructure resilience. The motion carried 3–0.
The board approved a second amendment to the Oregon Health Authority intergovernmental agreement for Environmental Health Services that broadens foodborne‑illness remittance language to reference OHA’s annual remittance memo. The board later approved the Sixth Amendment to the OHA 2024–2025 intergovernmental agreement extending financing terms for community mental health, addiction treatment, recovery and prevention, and problem‑gambling services; both OHA amendments were approved by unanimous vote.
The board accepted Oregon Department of Transportation Agreement No. 35759 (5310 capital funds) — a $121,536 grant for Lake County Public Transit — and approved payment of $300 for Lake County Chamber of Commerce dues for the 2025–2026 year. Commissioners also approved an OLCC license request for The Company Store and accepted several prior meeting minutes.
All motions on these items were seconded and recorded as carried by a 3–0 vote. No controversial debate or substantive amendments to the agreements were recorded in the July 16 transcript.
