Board agrees to draft resolution supporting Salem School preservation project

Supervisor Walter T. Bailey moved and Supervisor Hazel Bowman Smith seconded a motion directing staff to draft a Resolution of Support for the Committee’s efforts. The motion carried unanimously.
Committee members described ongoing grant research and an intention to adhere to historic guidelines. The Board’s request that staff prepare a draft resolution is procedural endorsement only; the resolution drafting and any future commitments or funding would follow usual staff review and Board consideration processes.
