MADISON COUNTY, N.C. — The Madison County Board of Elections met Nov. 4 for an absentee session and approved ballot batches for precincts, finalized its Election Day poll-worker roster and completed security steps for the absentee scanner.
Chair Jerry Wallin called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. and the board approved the agenda by unanimous motion. Secretary Dyatt Smathers proposed the poll-worker list; a motion to approve the Election Day poll-worker roster passed. The list included named judges and temporary office staff assignments for precincts.
