Commissioners approve surety bonds and several replats, deny interpreter invoice for lack of PO

During its Feb. 24 session the Llano County Commissioners Court approved Western Surety Company bonds, denied an interpreter invoice for lack of a purchase order and approved multiple replat petitions.
Commissioner Linda Raschke moved to approve Western Surety Company bonds for Deputy Sheriff James Brown and Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1 Maria “Sam” Silver (corrected with rider); Commissioner Brent Richards seconded and the vote was unanimous.
On a separate financial item, Commissioner Raschke moved to deny payment of an invoice to court interpreter Roberto C. Ostrowski from the Language Access special revenue fund because no purchase order had been issued prior to hiring; Commissioner Jerry Don Moss seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Land‑use items included a public hearing and approval for the replat of Lots 49‑A & 50‑A, Block L, Wood Forest Ranchettes (to be known as Lots 49‑B & 50‑B) and approvals for Sandy Harbor replat requests converting several lots to Lot 207A and Lots 212A & 220A. Motions to approve the replats were made by Commissioners Brent Richards and Peter Jones, seconded and approved unanimously; the minutes cite official plat record document numbers for each replat.
