At the start of the April 28 meeting the commissioners accepted a multi-item consent agenda that included the April 14 regular meeting minutes, accounts payable and budget transfers, interlocal and contract items, personnel leave and payroll certifications, the treasurer/investment report and monthly department reports.
During the consent and administrative items the court accepted a presentation from Linebarger attorney Carrie Pickering regarding tax sale excess proceeds totaling $5,751.63; Commissioner Linda Raschke moved approval and Commissioner Brent Richards seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The court also approved a proclamation designating May 4–10, 2025 as Jury Appreciation Week after a motion by Commissioner Raschke and second by Commissioner Moss.
The Brandt Service maintenance agreement/proposal was approved subject to attorney review and insertion of statutory language; the motion specified conditional approval pending county attorney review.
