Catawba County adopts 2026 meeting schedule and fills multiple board seats

At its Dec. 1 meeting the Catawba County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 2025-43, approving the county's regular meeting schedule for 2026 and adjusting January and September meeting dates because of holidays.
The Board also acted on organizational appointments: Chair Randy Isenhower recommended and the Board approved committee and board assignments including WPCOG Policy Board delegate and alternate, CVMC Board of Trustees representation, the K-64 Education Board assignment, and representation on Public Health, Social Services, Partners Health Management and the Metropolitan Planning Organization. The Board appointed Kline Pepper to the Catawba County Board of Adjustment (term to Nov. 30, 2028) and named Harold Dufour (second term) and new trustees Colby Bolick and Douglas Howard to the Catawba Valley Medical Center Board of Trustees (terms to Dec. 30, 2029).
All consent items and appointments were approved by unanimous motion. The meeting minutes note that no consent item was pulled for individual consideration.
