Key consent approvals included the award of a $99,853 contract to Innovative Emergency Management for a Joint City–County Crisis Communications Plan (Item 25-0074), approval of a roof partial replacement contract at Southwest Library ($71,000), authorization to replace fire alarm systems at six county facilities ($335,149), and a Building Automation System upgrade for HHS and Courthouse buildings with Schneider Electric ($774,045). The board also approved capital project amendments reallocating PAYGO and bond funds (25CPA037 and 25CPA039).
Committee and staff presentations included a series of ceremonial proclamations recognizing Fair Housing Month, Second Chance Month, Elizabeth Catlett Days, Black Maternal Health Week, Lineworker Appreciation Day, Arab American Heritage Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month; staff from Justice Services, Public Health and DSS briefly described programs and month-long activities associated with those proclamations.
