At the Feb. 10, 2025 Durham County Board of County Commissioners meeting, Commissioner Stephen Valentine moved and Commissioner Wendy Jacobs seconded approval of the consent agenda; the motion carried unanimously.
Items approved on the consent agenda included purchase contracts for Sheriff’s Office vehicle equipment and data protection/disaster recovery services, a lease amendment for space at the Shoppes of Hope Valley, authorization for the County Manager to sign an MOA with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety for the Durham County Youth Home, approval of County matching grants recipients ($100,000), a property management agreement addendum to include retail space at 201 E. Main Street, advertising 2024 tax liens on real property, contract amendments and new contracts for temporary staffing services, and budget ordinance amendments (25BCC070 and 25BCC072) that recognize $15,000 from Duke University for a community health assessment and appropriate $53,240 of General Fund balance to the County Matching Grants Program.
