Land & Forestry reports DNR co-management with White Earth and a truck purchase consideration

Bruce Cox, speaking for Land & Forestry, briefed the Clearwater County Board on Jan. 20 that the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is moving forward with a co-management agreement with White Earth for state lands within the White Earth State Forest. Cox said the county will coordinate as appropriate and also said he is researching acquisition of a newer county truck for departmental use.
The update was informational; the Board did not record any formal action on the co-management agreement or on the truck purchase during the meeting.
