Clearwater County Board approves multiple highway projects, sets March lettings and OKs Becker County MOU

The Clearwater County Board authorized advertising of several road projects with March lettings, approved a memorandum of understanding with Becker County on a joint CSAH project and named Polk County project lead on a bituminous overlay project.
The Clearwater County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 20 authorized advertising and scheduling for multiple highway projects and approved inter-county project agreements.
The Board set the letting for CP 26-100 (pavement markings) at 10:10 a.m. on March 10, 2026, and for CP 26-200 (aggregate crushing and surfacing) at 10:00 a.m. on March 10, 2026, after motions carried during the meeting. Commissioners also authorized advertising for several State Aid and county projects including SAP 015-637-005, SAP015-639-007, SAP003-637xxx and CP 26-42 (bituminous overlay and milling); the County Board Coordinator will set the specific letting date and time.
The Board approved a memorandum of understanding with Becker County covering work on Clearwater CSAH 39 and Becker CSAH 37. Separately, the Board authorized Polk County to act as project lead and proceed on SAP 015-648-004 (bituminous overlay and milling).
Chairman Mark Titera and Commissioners Larson, Dukek, Emmel and Ramsrud were present for the approvals. The actions move several resurfacing and maintenance projects into procurement and formal project development ahead of the March lettings.
