The Brewster County Commissioners Court approved Cynthia Cox as the Brewster County Elections Administrator on Aug. 26, 2025. Judge Greg P. Henington introduced Cox as the Election Commission’s recommended candidate; Cox presented her resume and the court approved the appointment on a unanimous 5-0 vote.
The court also approved the Amended Order of Election for the Nov. 4, 2025 election and authorized Notices of Consolidated Precincts for Precincts 2 and 8 and for Precincts 5, 6 and 7 for the November election only. Commissioner Sara Allen Colando moved to approve the amended order; Commissioner William "Mo" Morrow seconded the motion and the court approved both actions 5-0. No public comment was recorded on these items.
These approvals finalize election administration staffing and precinct consolidation for the November 2025 election cycle; the Elections Department will implement the orders and consolidated-precinct notices per state requirements.
