ALPINE, Texas — The Brewster County Commissioners Court on July 29 approved three contracts and discussed a proposed vehicle-leasing program for the sheriff’s office during a workshop on the FY2026 budget.

Commissioner Sara Allen Colando moved to approve the interlocal agreement and the LexisNexis contract; Commissioner William “Mo” Morrow moved to approve the tax-assessor services agreement. Each motion passed unanimously among the four members present: Judge Greg P. Henington and Commissioners Jim Westermann, Sara Allen Colando and William “Mo” Morrow. Commissioner Ruben Ortega was absent.
