Xavier Rivera, a representative of AirMedCare Network, presented a group-membership proposal for Brewster County employees at the Jan. 27 Commissioners Court meeting.
Commissioner William "Mo" Morrow moved to offer the AMNC subscription to county employees on an opt-in basis at the employees' own expense. Commissioner Jim Westermann seconded the motion, and the court approved it 4-0.
The court's action permits county staff to purchase the AirMed membership at their discretion; the county will not subsidize the subscription per the recorded motion.
