The Reeves County Groundwater Conservation District approved routine business at its June 20 meeting in Pecos. Motions recorded in the minutes included approval of the May 16 minutes (moved by Luke Brown, seconded by Benjamin Burnham); approval of April financial statements (moved by Ginny Barmore, seconded by Benjamin Burnham); and approval of May bills (moved by Luke Brown, seconded by Benjamin Burnham). All routine motions passed unanimously, 4-0.
The board also voted to accept the 2023 Annual Report (motion by Ginny Barmore, seconded by Benjamin Burnham; vote 4-0). The board reviewed correspondence including a letter from Joyce Anne Stevens, a thank-you note from PBTISD sponsorship winners, a TCEQ notice regarding Land Application Permit #WQ0005258000, and an RCAD letter from Chief Appraiser Gary Zeitler. The board set its next meeting for July 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. and adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
All routine votes were recorded in the minutes as unanimous among the four directors present.
