Greenville approves Montcalm mutual-aid agreements and adopts updated transit accessibility plan

The Greenville City Council unanimously approved two mutual-aid renewals with Montcalm County on Dec. 6, 2022, and adopted the City’s updated 2024 Vehicle Accessibility Plan for the transit system.
Councilperson Johnson moved and Councilperson Barrus seconded approval of the Montcalm County Hazardous Materials Response Agreement; the motion was unanimously adopted and the City Manager was authorized to sign. Councilperson Moss later moved and Councilperson Johnson seconded approval of the Montcalm County Mutual Fire Assistance Agreement; that motion also passed unanimously with authorization for the City Manager to sign.
Separately, the council considered the Greenville Transit Local Advisory Council’s recommendation and approved the updated 2024 Vehicle Accessibility Plan for the City’s transit system. Councilperson Moss moved the transit plan approval and Councilperson Cunliffe seconded; the motion was unanimously adopted.
