Spencer County Fiscal Court voted Monday to solicit bids for a pavilion project, approving a motion to put the entire project out to bid using the plans reviewed at the meeting. The special-called meeting opened at 8:00 a.m. April 7 in the Fiscal Court meeting room at 28 East Main Street.
Scott Travis, Spencer County judge-executive, presented several documents and drawings for the proposed pavilion and moved that the court advertise the project for bids in its totality using the prints on hand. The motion was seconded by Esq. Stump. The court set a submission deadline of 2:00 p.m. on May 30 for returned bids.
Spencer County Clerk Lynn Hesselbrock conducted roll call and reported that all members of the fiscal court were present. The court approved the motion by voice vote, with all members present voting “aye.” The meeting minutes record that the motion passed and bidding instructions were authorized as discussed.
After concluding the pavilion item, fiscal court member Esq. Cotton moved to adjourn; Esq. Pharris seconded, and the court voted to adjourn at 8:53 a.m. The clerk attested the minutes for the meeting.
