The court approved the rezoning of property associated with Allen Stewart & Rita Stewart / Terry W. & Jane M. Schultz Yates from AG-1 (agricultural) to R-1 (residential) for Tract 1A (0.753 acres) and Tract B (0.348 acres) on the 4000 block of Mill Road. The court also approved rezoning for Leroy & Loretta Williams Estate, Doug Williams and Scott Williams from AG-1 to R-1 for a 0.593-acre parcel at 3519 Mt. Washington Road. Both motions were made by Esq. Eldridge and seconded by Esq. Cotton; the minutes record all members voting "Aye."
Zoning officer Julie Sweazy noted she had compiled the zoning regulations into a binder for the committee and answered questions about city-county ordinance language differences for distillery/winery and storage-container rules. The minutes show the city adopted similar language to the planning commission recommendations but had entirely denied storage containers within city limits.
The court attested the ordinances with signatures from Clerk Lynn Hesselbrock and Judge-Executive Scott Travis. No appeals or remands were recorded in the meeting minutes.
