Travis also told the court the contractor must confirm tax‑exempt status so the county will not pay sales tax.
The motion to approve the deposit was made by Judge Travis and seconded by Esq. Pharris; the minutes record that Esq. Cotton voted against the motion and Esqs. Stump and Eldridge were absent. The order authorizes the deposit to Elder Construction pending final contract signature and the specified legal clarifications.
