Spencer County Fiscal Court reviewed and approved reimbursement requests and contractor invoices related to the county’s sanitary sewer project at the Dec. 15 meeting.
The court approved Exhibit B and KIA draw #10 in the amount of $15,250.00 covering documented project expenses, and approved a list of sanitation invoices and draw payments that included contractor claims for sewer upgrades, engineering and inspection services. The transcript notes a register totaling multiple vendor invoices for the sanitation fund and a draw schedule managed through the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA).
The court also approved a payment application from Elder Construction tied to the county pavilion project, authorizing $49,500.00 to Elder Construction. At the same time the court deferred action on a Jacobi Sales invoice for tractor repair (amount cited in the minutes) pending further clarification.
Judge Travis and fiscal staff emphasized that several sanitation invoices are tied to prior draw approvals and that the county’s reimbursement requests must align with the KIA grant budget and procurement policies. The court ordered staff to approve the KIA draw and disbursements per the established draw procedures.
