Kittitas County commissioners approve updated safety manual, authorize chair to sign 2025 OSHA 300A

The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 27 approved a resolution updating the county’s Accident Prevention Program and Safety Manual and authorized the chair to sign the county's 2025 OSHA Form 300A.
HR Director Jeanne Killgore presented an updated draft of the safety manual, saying the document “has been reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with current safety laws and rules.” After the presentation, Commissioner Brett Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution 2026-012, Commissioner Laura Osiadacz seconded, and the motion carried 3-0.
The board then considered a request to authorize the chair to sign the county’s 2025 OSHA Form 300A — the annual summary of work-related injuries and illnesses that employers covered by OSHA must post. Killgore presented the form and Commissioner Wachsmith moved to authorize the chair signature; Commissioner Osiadacz seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
