The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 20 handled routine administrative business including approval of County Employee Personnel Action Forms and county vouchers, review of the weekly correspondence log and calendar, and assignment of department-head meeting responsibilities for 2026.
Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board, asked commissioners to ensure InformaCast was pinned on each user's toolbar after Security requested the change; the Board directed her to ask IT whether the application could be forced out to all county computers.
The Board also reviewed whiteboard topics and decided content for the county Facebook page, including an overpass project update and a Bullfrog Road health/measles update for the week of Jan. 19, 2026. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz provided a legal-service request concerning the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee's makeup and asked Legal to provide an opinion.
These items were recorded as routine administrative matters; motions and approvals were taken where noted in the minutes. No public comment was recorded and no substantive policy votes were taken beyond appointments and authorization of correspondence.
