The reports showed a General Fund balance of $1,394,401.85; Road Fund $336,710.29; Jail Fund -$280.90; LGEA Fund $218,701.45; Forest Fire Fund $1,396.48; CDBG Fund $0; Dispatch Fund $155,769.70; Clerk's Storage Fund $2,530.72; ARPA Fund $36,148.58; Opioid Fund $249,885.11; Capital Improvement $190,827.21; total all funds $2,586,090.49. The court voted unanimously to accept the report.
The Fiscal Court also approved presented budget transfers and cash transfers, and ratified a polled cash transfer executed on March 3, 2025 by Treasurer Utterback in the amount of $30,000 from the General Fund to the Jail Fund. The minutes record unanimous votes for these actions; the transcript notes the votes as "Vote Unan." but does not provide an exact roll-call tally.
Separately, the court voted unanimously to renew the inmate housing agreement with the Rowan County Detention Center for fiscal year 2025–2026. The motion and second are recorded in the minutes.
The Fiscal Court additionally authorized opening a separate bank account for ABC funds and discussed Cashvest services in the same set of actions, approving the measures without recorded opposition.
