Sheriff Hodges and jail administrator present disciplinary report for signature; committee hears monthly reports and adjourns

Sheriff Michael Hodges and Jail Administrator Steve Layman presented the monthly report from the Sevier County Sheriff's Office on Nov. 9 and asked Emergency Services Committee members to sign off on the Disciplinary Report for the Jail and Annex. Layman told the committee he will submit the signed report after members sign it.
Earlier in the meeting, Director Joe Brown presented the monthly report for the Sevier County Juvenile Detention Center. Vice Mayor Bryan McCarter told the committee that Director Joe Ayers and Human Resources Director Strickland are finalizing the job description for the Sevier County Central Dispatch Director position.
Commissioner Jack Parton moved to adjourn the meeting; Commissioner Ray Ogle seconded the motion. The meeting adjourned at 5:48 PM.
