Franklin County legislative committee forwards road-list changes and 11 notary applications to full commission

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners Legislative Committee met Sept. 10, 2020, in the Large Community Room at the Franklin County Annex Building and unanimously approved a series of routine resolutions and a referral to the full commission.
Chairman David Eldridge called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Commissioners Barbara Finney, Johnny Hughes, Chuck Stines and Carolyn Wiseman were present; Heather Morgan served as secretary and Brian Justice of the Herald Chronicle attended.
Commissioner Chuck Stines moved to approve the minutes of the July 9, 2020 meeting; Commissioner Barbara Finney seconded. The committee recorded "All Ayes" and carried the motion.
Stines then moved, Hughes seconded, to approve and forward to the full commission a resolution to add Hoyat Lusk Lane to the county's Private Road List. The committee voted unanimously and the motion carried.
Commissioner Carolyn Wiseman moved, Commissioner Barbara Finney seconded, to approve and forward a resolution making several changes to the Franklin County Road List. That motion carried on a unanimous vote.
Commissioner Johnny Hughes moved, Commissioner Carolyn Wiseman seconded, to approve and forward a resolution to make changes to the listing for Barry Hollow Lane on the Franklin County Road List. The motion passed with 'All Ayes.'
Commissioner Barbara Finney moved, Commissioner Chuck Stines seconded, to approve and forward a resolution to add Parks Drive to the Franklin County Road List. The committee voted unanimously in favor and carried the motion.
Commissioner Chuck Stines moved, Commissioner Barbara Finney seconded, to send eleven (11) notary applications to the full commission. Committee members voted 'All Ayes' and the referral was carried.
Stines moved to adjourn at 6:10 p.m.; Hughes seconded. The committee voted unanimously and adjourned the meeting.
