Franklin County legislative committee forwards notary applications and infectious disease policy to full commission

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners Legislative Committee met May 7, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the courthouse conference room at 204. Chairman David Eldridge presided; members Johnny Hughes, Barbara Finney, Chuck Stines and Carolyn Wiseman were recorded present. Secretary Heather Morgan and reporter Al Tipps (WCDT) were also noted as present.
The committee began by approving the minutes of March 5, 2020. Member Carolyn Wiseman moved to approve the minutes, and member Barbara Finney seconded; the motion passed with all ayes.
The committee then voted to forward administrative items to the full commission. Member Barbara Finney moved to send eleven notary applications to the full commission; Johnny Hughes seconded the motion, which passed with all ayes. Later, member Chuck Stines moved to send an Infectious Disease Control Policy to the full commission; Carolyn Wiseman seconded and the committee again voted all ayes to forward the policy.
Committee leadership announced a change of meeting location: until further notice, Legislative Committee meetings will be held at the Annex Building rather than the courthouse conference room at 204.
Member Chuck Stines moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m.; Johnny Hughes seconded and the committee voted all ayes to adjourn. Chairman David Eldridge signed the minutes as "Respectfully submitted."
