Separately, the commission filled an unopposed vacancy in District 1, Seat A by approving David Eldridge to the seat by voice vote; Eldridge was nominated by Commissioner Charles Keller and seconded by Commissioner Carolyn Wiseman. The minutes show Eldridge was later elected pro tem in a procedural vote recorded in the minutes.
The commission also approved ten notary public applications and appointed two members to the Franklin County Library Board (Allen Burnette and Michelle Earle) for three-year terms.
