Commissioner Shawn Peters sponsored the combined motion to approve the school budget amendments. School officials and the county finance director provided the supporting schedules that match the state's reporting requirements, and the resolutions state these adjustments involve no local tax dollars.
The action allows the Board of Education to operate on budgets consistent with the state's approved figures for federal programs and to expend federal grant carryover amounts as described in the Federal Projects resolution.
