Res. 2020-032 added a $34,800 School Board mini-grant to the General Purpose Budget (no local tax dollars). Commissioners approved that resolution by roll call (21-0). Later, the commission combined and approved Res. 2020-036 (a $7,500 safety grant) and Res. 2020-037 (a state-required reallocation moving $175,000 from Local Option Sales Tax to Early Childhood Education accounts) by roll-call vote 21-0.
The resolutions state the funds will be added to revenue and corresponding expenditure lines and that the changes involve no new local tax dollars. Commissioner Shawn Peters sponsored the resolutions recorded in the minutes.
