Hyperion Metals introduced to Benton County commissioners; company offers to answer questions

The introduction was brief; Hyperion Metals representatives said they were available to answer questions about operations and local impacts. County Mayor Brett Lashlee later encouraged welcoming the new business to the community.
The commission did not take any formal action on Hyperion Metals at the meeting. Commissioners who raised related concerns earlier in the agenda discussed sales tax collection and municipal contracts in general terms but did not link those remarks to the company introduction.
