William Bridger sworn in after commission votes to fill 5th District seat

A voice vote recorded 18 yes and 2 no votes (Nick Holder and Danny Deal opposed). Mayor Patty Woodby administered the oath and Bridger took his seat as 5th District commissioner.
The appointment followed routine roll call and earlier business on the agenda. No further conditions or contingencies for the appointment were announced during the meeting.
The commission adjourned at 8:21 PM; Bridger’s swearing-in was recorded on the public minutes for Nov. 17, 2025.
