Commission directs county attorney to revise state model E & S ordinance, seeks longer review period

Dunford suggested extending the E & S plan‑review period from 10 days to 15 days to allow additional time for technical review. Vice‑Chairman Robert "Bob" Moss moved to direct County Attorney Chase Collins to revise the draft ordinance; Member Anthony Ramella seconded the motion, which the commission approved 6‑0 (Member Kyle Cruey absent).
County Attorney Collins was directed to prepare a revised draft for consideration at the Planning Commission’s April 11, 2024 meeting, with staff recommending a public hearing be scheduled to take formal comment prior to adoption.
