The Tazewell County Community Policy and Management Team met in closed session Dec. 18 to discuss foster care, child protective services cases, Cumberland and court services and funding for those cases. Michelle Brown moved to enter closed session to consider those matters; the motion was seconded by Jeff Brintle and carried unanimously.
After private consideration, the CPMT returned to open session and reported that Jeff Brintle moved to approve funding for Foster Care, CPS, Cumberland, Court Services and Tazewell County Schools for the cases discussed in closed session; Dwayne Sturgill seconded and the motion was unanimously carried. The minutes record that Foster Care Basic and Enhanced Maintenance services for case numbers 9919204 and 9919205 were incorporated into the funding approval.
