Tazewell County’s CPMT voted May 20, 2024 to include the National Counseling Group (NCG) as a private provider member for a two‑year term on both the CPMT and the Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT).
The coordinator said eight providers were invited for fiscal year 2025; only NCG responded with a request for consideration. Shanna Plaster moved to appoint National Counseling Group to a two‑year term; Robin Jackson seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The CPMT also approved a contingent motion, moved by Jeff Brintle and seconded by Shanna Plaster, to consider Family Preservation Services (FPS) in the rotation selection if NCG declines to participate. Mr. Ryan Thomas (FPS) was asked to submit a letter of consideration to the coordinator; the coordinator will forward a copy of FPS’s invitation letter for documentation.
