CPMT agrees to pursue contract with Always Blossom Therapeutic Safe Heaven for Girls after IACCT acceptance

The coordinator told members that CSA eligibility and procedural requirements still apply for accessing CSA funding, including a FAPT meeting, assignment of a case manager, determining Medicaid billability, and having a contract in place with the facility. Mullins said the family had completed the IACCT and that "the CSA process and procedures are explained to the families regarding FAPT." Members voted unanimously for the coordinator to initiate a contract.
The CPMT discussed the pathway by which families sometimes complete IACCT directly with providers rather than coming through FAPT, and members reiterated that, regardless of how a referral begins, CSA funding requires the usual FAPT review and contract requirements. The coordinator said she would begin contract initiation steps and that Medicaid billing for the facility was being checked before services would be funded. The meeting packet listed 53 vendors currently contracted to serve Tazewell County for FY2024‑2025.
The committee did not record a formal roll-call vote count for this action beyond unanimous agreement in the meeting record. The matter will be handled administratively through the coordinator’s contract process and returned to CPMT if additional approvals or documentation are required.
