Lunenburg board accepts multiple grants including TTF award for Circuit Clerk and DMV highway safety funds

The board also approved acceptance and appropriation of $33,304 in DMV Highway Safety Grant funds for selective enforcement and police traffic services for the Sheriff’s Office; accepted a Virginia Information Technology Agency Data Inventory Grant of $10,740 for the Registrar’s Office with no local match (appointing General Registrar Alissa Baldwin as project manager and authorizing her to sign the consent agreement); and accepted a $11,895.54 reimbursement for Radiocache’s September 2024 hurricane response, directing distribution of $5,000 to Victoria Fire and Rescue, $1,000 to Stacey Newton for Starlink activation, and $5,895.54 to the 911 Fund for radio-system needs.
