Under Communications, the board received and placed on file a letter from Veterans Service Officer John Frello reporting a reduction in the County Veterans Service Fund grant. The minutes record the communication was received and placed on file by unanimous voice vote; no board action beyond filing was recorded.
The county Administrator informed commissioners that auditors will present the county's Fiscal Year 2024 audit at the board's May 7, 2025 meeting.
During public comment, Randy Kashich expressed concerns about the City of Ironwood sewer project; the minutes do not record a response from the board. The meeting adjourned at 5:13 p.m. on a motion by Commissioner Wood, supported by Commissioner Cayer.
